according to your specifications.

OUR HISTORY
MOR Designs
came into existence in early 1996 after
realizing, in trying to start up our
own business, that low cost, high quality
website design was almost impossible
to find. BINGO! 'Why not do it ourselves'?,
we thought. So we did. We're not out
to make a billion dollars. We just love
designing websites and don't particularly
like the "corporate mindset"
so prevalent in America these days.
Our
philosophy is more in tune with "Middle
Of the Road" America.

John Bates - Owner and Chief
Designer of MOR Designs.
With nearly 10 years experience
in web design, web hosting and
ecommerce, 8 years experience
in web marketing, and 4 years
experience in search engine optimization,
John is ideally suited to manage
the team that will see your project
through.
John has an obsession with "service
to our clients" as well as
another obsession in keeping current
in all things web related.
We are located in the burgeoning
business and residential center
of Orange County, California,
in the centrally located city
of Tustin, which was founded in
1868 by "Columbus Tustin",
and once housed a US Navy base
for blimps.
The story of Tustin begins with
the land itself, which is situated
on the floodplain of the Santa
Ana River and it's tributary,
Santiago Creek. The most prominent
landmark which is known as "Red
Hill" due to ancient volcanic
activity which deposited cinnabarite
(mecury) that turned the sandstone
hill red. The Native Americans
then inhabiting the Tustin area
(prior to the Spaniards) called
the hill "Katuktu" which
is defined as "Hill of Prominence"
or "Place of Refuge".
With a yearly mean temperature
of 63°, a population of 70,871+,
Tustin is a quiet community of
tree lined streets with the city
motto being "City of Trees."
The tree most prominent here is
the Red Flowering Eucalyptus.
It is quite pleasant here and
is nestled up against a large
undeveloped section of land, which
gives it the feel of being "away"
from the rest of the sprawling
metropolis that is southern California.
